The Basava Samiti, established in 1973 at Kolar Gold Fields, upholds Guru Basavanna's philosophy through a range of impactful initiatives. Over the past 50 years, the Samiti has built the grand “Basava Samsukritak Bhavana” and organized various social, religious and educational programs. Key activities include "Vachana Gayana Competitions", "Social and Cultural Debates" and the annual "Pratibha Puraskara" to honor meritorious students. The Samiti also celebrates Basavanna's and other revered Sharanas Jayanti’s with devotion. In 1993, Akkana Balaga was formed to boost women's involvement, fostering cultural engagement through Bhajan’s, Vachana Gayana and rangoli competitions.
We organize educational and cultural events to inspire individuals to embrace Basavanna's teachings, promoting harmony and solidarity.
Global dissemination of Basavanna's wisdom for fostering unity and empowerment worldwide.
